Breast Augmentation: Correcting Breast Asymmetry
Published on August 7, 2017 by Ian Lytle
Breast asymmetry is a condition that causes one of the breasts to be a noticeably different size and shape from the other. This can make it difficult to find clothing that fits or looks flattering and can be a major source of embarrassment for some women.
One of the options for correcting breast asymmetry is a breast augmentation procedure. This option is best suited for women whose bodies would be better complemented by a larger breast size. The procedure will vary depending on your desired results. One implant may be used to make both breasts an equal size, or each breast may receive an implant for an overall larger and symmetrical breast size.
If you believe that receiving breast augmentation is your best choice for correcting your breast asymmetry, contact Lytle Plastic Surgery to schedule a consultation. Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Ian Lytle will help you find the breast size that best suits your figure.
