How to Correct Implant Rippling
Published on April 19, 2018 by Ian Lytle
Are you unhappy with the results of your primary breast-augmentation procedure because of implant rippling? this is a fairly common issue that causes a wavy pattern to form on the outer edges of the breasts skin or along the inner side of the breasts where the cleavage is.
The primary cause of implant rippling is a lack of soft-tissue coverage in the area. If the implants are not covered by enough tissue ripples can form in the implants.
Implant rippling can occur in different types of implants, but the issue occurs dost commonly in saline implants. Placing the implant under the chest muscles help to prevent implant rippling by ensuring that there is enough soft-tissue coverage.
